Thames Vale Advanced Motorcyclists are dedicated to improving riding standards and safety for all motorcyclists in the Thames Valley area.

Our aim is to get the most out of motorcycling, enjoy a range of social and biking activities whilst improving our personal safety and riding skills. We are affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists and a key objective of the club is to bring riders up to the standard required for the IAM test. The club has over 800 members, all of whom have, or are working towards achieving an IAM advanced test pass.

Many club members go on to become Group Observers and achieve very high standards of riding. The club has both male and female members of all ages and provides an impressive array of events for everyone.

We enjoy a healthy relationship with the local police and road safety community and it is our aim to be ambassadors for safe, fun motorcycling in the Thames Valley
